Service Electric Cable TV, a cable television company serving eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey, has added 16 HD networks to its lineup. Those new high-definition channels include: Disney Channel HD, ABC Family Channel HD, Planet Green HD and Golf/Versus HD.
“We are packing our high-definition line-up with the most-watched national networks on television, and a lot more are on the way.” said Donald Brandt, director of Programming and Program Marketing for Service Electric.“ He added, “Our viewers know the value of quality programming.”
Other HD channels the company provides that were added in 2008 include A&E HD, History HD, CNN HD, Weather HD, NHL HD, FX HD, Speed HD, Hallmark Movie HD, Discovery HD, Animal Planet HD, The Learning Channel (TLC) HD and Discovery Science HD.
The cable television provider currently delivers digital cable, HD programming, On Demand, DVR, high-speed Internet and digital phone services to 84,000 customers in Birdsboro, Hazleton and Sunbury. Service Electric also offers broadband Internet and telephone services through two partner companies, PenTeleData and Ironton Telephone.
