I’ll drink to that. Home Media Magazine reports that more Bond films will soon be available on Blu-ray Disc. MGM, through distributer 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, is currently producing six of the Bond classics for release on Blu-ray. The scheduled release dates are Oct. 20 in the U.S., and Oct. 21 in the U.K..
Casino Royale was the first Bond film available on Blu-ray, released back in March of 2007. The disc was a huge hit and remains one of the best selling Blu-ray discs.
The next Bond films to be released will be Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only and Die Another Day. The first set of films will be released on Blu-ray close to the theatrical release of the much anticipated upcoming Bond film Quantum of Solace.
