Back in March of 2008, a promotional partnership was made between DISH and LIN TV that informed customers that if their local LIN TV stations were dropped from their cable television provider they could find the stations on DISH Network. They also marketed the fact that local stations are available over-the-air using an antenna.

He added, “Consumers in Green Bay, Hartford-New Haven and Providence can already enjoy their local HD channels with DISH Network, and Grand Rapids residents will see their local HD channels added to DISH Network later this month.”
