‘Blade Runner’ Blu-ray steal on Amazon

Amazon currently has a steal-of-a-deal on the 5-disc Blu-ray version of “Blade Runner”. Starring Harrison Ford, Sean Young, Rutger Hauer and Ridley Scott, this is a must-have title for your Blu-ray collection.

The classic/cult film by Warner Brothers that had a less than successful theatrical debut in 1982, was remastered and restored to high-definition quality. “The Blade Runner 5-disc Complete Collector’s Edition” was released in December of 2007, and is regularly priced at $39.99.

The movie itself lasts 117 minutes, while the total run time of all the discs is 578 minutes. Disc 1 contains Ridley Scott’s final-cut version of the film. Disc 2 is a documentary called “Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner”. Disc 3 contains the original 1982 theatrical version, the 1982 international version, and the 1992 director’s cut. Disc 4 is called the “Enhancement Archive,” featuring special effects and deleted footage. Disc 5 is the “Workprint Version,” a rare look at alternate scenes, beginnings and endings.
