Starting soon, kiosks will be set up in Blockbuster stores across Canada. The company first offered Blu-ray discs to customers in November of last year, but now they will promote the high definition format even more by allowing customers to actually “see” the goods.
Blu-ray movies will be played on a Playstation 3 gaming console and shown on a 42-inch HDTV. It seems even Blockbuster knows that Blu-ray players are still too expensive for the average consumer, and that BD movies are more likely to be rented to PS3 owners.
