ESPN will launch ESPNews HD on March 30th. Not only will the channel be ESPN’s third high definition network, it will make use of the widescreen (16:9) format of high definition by presenting new innovations in news and statistics delivery.
Along with the traditional use of a bottom bar to display information, an integrated top and left side bar will display news, graphics, headshots, and scores.
The channel will begin broadcasting from a new studio and set inside ESPN’s digital center.
