Comcast announced today it’s plans to add 6 new high-definition (HD) channels in Washington state, on March 4, 2008. The new channels, which will be available in Seattle and Spokane, will include: Animal Planet HD, Discovery Channel HD, The Learning Channel (TLC) HD, Home and Garden TV (HGTV) HD, Food Network HD and Sci Fi HD.
In Western Washington, Comcast provides 31 HD channels, Sonics and Mariners games in HD, and more than 250 channels through their ON DEMAND service.
