St. Louis CBS Station Switches to HD News

January 28, 2008

KMOV-TV, the CBS affiliate in St. Louis, today began broadcasting its local newscasts in High-Definition.

Known as channel 4 in St. Louis, the station made the switch today with its 5:30 p.m. newscast.

KMOV, which is owned by the Belo Corp., recently completed a studio renovation to prepare for the switch to HD.
