This week’s Blu-ray, Digital and UltraViolet releases

What’s new on Blu-ray Disc, Digital Copy, and UltraViolet this week? Let’s start with Tom Cruise as investigator Jack Reacher. The 2-Disc Combo from Paramount includes Blu-ray, DVD, Digital, and UltraViolet copy of the film. Fringe: The Complete Fifth Season has been released to Blu-ray Disc. The 3-Disc set from Warner Home Video totals over 570 minutes and includes access to download UltraViolet copies from the Warner UV cloud. The romance/mystery film Safe Haven is also now available on Blu-ray Disc in a 2-Disc set that includes Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and UltraViolet copy. And, this week the classic Steve McQueen film The Great Escape (1963) has been released to high definition Blu-ray. The unrated release from MGM is formatted in 1080p with 2.35:1 widescreen aspect ratio and 24-bit DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack (no Digital or UltraViolet copies included with this one).
