Ridley Scott’s Oscar-nominated film American Gangster (2007) has been upgraded to 4k Blu-ray for release on Tuesday, Oct. 15. The edition includes the original Theatrical Version plus Extended Version with an additional 18 minutes of footage.
The 4k Blu-ray features High Dynamic Range via HDR10+ and a new immersive DTS:X soundtrack backed by DTS Master Audio 5.1 French and Spanish audio is provided in DTS Dolby Digital Surround 5.1.
Bonus material includes previously released extras like deleted scenes, trailers, and featurettes on the Blu-ray Disc. However, the 4k Blu-ray features audio commentary from Director Ridley Scott and writer Steven Zaillian.
American Gangster is selling for $17.96 on Amazon (List: $29.99) and ships free with Amazon Prime.
