Disney announced today the bundling of three premium streaming services for the same price as Netflix’s 2-screen HD plan. For $12.99 per month, the bundle will include Disney+ (the company’s upcoming $6.99 per month service), Hulu (the $5.99 per month ad-supported plan), and ESPN+ (the $4.99 per month service that streams live sports, originals, and exclusives).
The monthly price of the bundle amounts to a $5 discount if you were to buy all three services, and makes Disney+ a worthy contender to Netflix who still dominates the market.
But the focus won’t all be on Disney. In the upcoming year Apple will be launching Apple TV+, AT&T/WarnerMedia is premiering HBO Max, and both Comcast has plans to debut their NBCUniversal (still unnamed) streaming product.
