We recently got confirmation the entire MCU film catalog would be released to 4k Blu-ray and this listing of both Thor and Thor: The Dark World confirms that expectation.
The new UHD BD upgrades packaged in Cinematic Universe Editions from Disney/Buena Vista will hit stores on August 13, 2019, and both movies will also be available in Limited Edition SteelBooks from Best Buy.
The two films will join Thor: Ragnarok (already available in 4k) and will release simultaneously with all three Iron Man films on 4k Blu-ray and the much-anticipated disc editions of Avengers: Endgame.
On Ultra HD Blu-ray, Thor and Thor: The Dark World are each presented in 2160p at 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 High Dynamic Range and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. Subtitles are provided in English SDH, French, and Spanish.
Bonus features on the included Blu-ray Discs have been previously released with extended and deleted scenes, movie featurettes, gag reel, commentary and more in HD quality.
The Thor Cinematic Universe 4k Blu-ray Editions include a digital copy of the movie redeemable through Movies Anywhere partners like Amazon, Apple, Google, and Vudu.

The listings on Amazon and Best Buy arrived simultaneously with all three Iron Man films and will arrive day-and-date with the disc releases of Avengers: Endgame.
