Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for Spider-Man: Far from Home set to release to theaters this summer on July 2nd. Before the trailer starts, however, Tom Holland warns viewers that if they haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet to go see it before watching the trailer. Hmmm. That’s an interesting tactic to sell even more tickets to ‘Endgame’ which has already grossed over $2B at box offices worldwide ($620M US).
However, there is at least one major spoiler in the trailer and for this, the warning is a valid one. There also several other references to Endgame which may make ‘Far from Home’ even more enticing this summer.
In Spider-Man: Far from Home Peter Parker takes a vacation, even ignoring calls from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), but finds himself exploring a multi-verse in which Continental Europe is being destroyed.
‘Far From Home’ was directed by Jon Watts and along with Holland and Jackson stars Zendaya as Michelle Jones, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, and Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio.
