DirecTV has been providing 4k broadcasts of the 2019 NCAA March Madness tournament on Channels 105 and 106. The Ultra HD feeds are available to DirecTV customers with 4k service and an Ultra HD TV (with or without HDR).
Most of DirecTV’s live sporting events in 4k can be found on Channel 106. However, DirecTV’s Channel 105 (which typically provides On Demand movies in 4k), has been used for the March Madness games.
The week starts in 4k with (#16) Prairie View A&M vs. (#16) Fairleigh Dickinson at 6:40 PM from Dayton, OH. The games are also available in HD on truTV.
4k with DirecTV needs to be set up with a qualified service technician. Read: How to get 4k Ultra HD on DIRECTV.
