It was pretty easy to pick our Blu-ray release of the week… Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The film, already released to digital a couple weeks ago, is available in several Blu-ray editions including retailer exclusives from Best Buy, Target and Walmart. The Blu-ray combos include a second disc, bonus content, and digital copy. Also on Tuesday, Universal is releasing the Jurassic World: 5-Movie Collection with all five Jurassic Park-inspired films. That edition includes six discs and digital copies packaged in a handsome SteelBook case.
You might also consider the drama/action film Siberia (2018) starring Keanu Reeves, a new Limited Edition SteelBook edition of Platoon (1986), Michael Crichton’s strange science fiction/thriller Looker (1981) from the Warner Archive Collection, and the bizarre Japanese horror film Horrors of Malformed Men (1969) in a Special Edition from Arrow Video.
This week there are plenty of TV shows and returning seasons new to Blu-ray such as Supergirl: The Complete Third Season, Lethal Weapon: The Complete Second Season, The Looming Tower Mini-Series, and The X-files: The Complete Season Eleven.
