Digital 4k UHD movies typically cost somewhere between $14.99 (on the low end) and $29.99 (on the high end). (Yeah, Google Play, FandangoNow and Vudu still sell some titles for $30, even though iTunes disrupted the market with $20 Digital 4k movies with the launch of Apple TV 4k last year.) But whenever see a deal on a Digital 4k movie (also referred to as UHD or Ultra HD) we like to tell you about it.
Right now you can get Pacific Rim (2013) in 4k UHD for $7.99 on Apple iTunes. The 4k (2160p) resolution movie features HDR via Dolby Vision on TVs that support it. And, the purchase includes iTunes Extras with deleted scenes, blooper reels, featurettes and more. To compare, Pacific Rim in Digital UHD costs $29.99 on Google Play and $14.99 on FandangoNow and Vudu.
iTunes is also selling the newest film in the franchise, Pacific Rim: Uprising, at a decent price of $14.99. We don’t know how long these prices will last.
