Fury (2014) is one of those movies that looked great in the cinema, and so this 4k upgrade from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is a great addition to anyone’s Ultra HD Blu-ray library. [Update: A new collectible SteelBook edition of Fury releases July 15, 2025 and features Dolby Vision HDR.]
Starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman, Fury follows a Sherman tank crew in 1945 as they face impossible odds against Nazi Germany.
The 2-disc Ultra HD Blu-ray edition of Fury includes copies of the film on 4k Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital HD/UHD (where available).
On 4k Blu-ray, Fury is presented in 2160p at 2.39:1 aspect ratio created from a new transfer from the original 4k digital intermediate, which also features HDR (High Dynamic Range) via the HDR10 specification. The English soundtrack is presented in Dolby Atmos backed by 24-bit Dolby TrueHD 7.1.
Bonus material on the 4k Blu-ray disc includes over 30 minutes of rare featurettes along with the extras included on the standard Blu-ray. (See below for more details.)
Fury on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray is priced $17.09 (MSRP: $30.99) on Amazon.
