It’s the first week of new Blu-ray releases for the year 2018! Here are our highlights. American Made starring Tom Cruise is available in both Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray combo editions from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. In the film, Cruise plays pilot Barry Seal who becomes a drug-runner for the CIA. The two-disc editions include several bonus feaurettes and a Digital Copy redeemable through Movies Anywhere.
Criterion Collection has produced a 4k digital restoration of John Hughes film The Breakfast Club for release on Blu-ray Disc with an alternate 5.1 surround soundtrack in DTS HD Master Audio. The new special edition includes audio commentary, new interviews with Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy, 50 minutes of never-before-seen deleted and extended scenes, and more.
And, Battle Of The Sexes starring Oscar-winning actor Emma Stone and Oscar-nominated Steve Carell is now available on Blu-ray. The biographical comedy/drama from Fox Searchlight tells the true story of the 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King and ex-champ and hustler Bobby Riggs. The Blu-ray combo edition includes a DVD and Digital Copy.
