Lionsgate has announced the Blu-ray and digital release dates for The Circle starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson. The thriller will first be available in Digital HD on July 18th, followed by Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand rental availability on August 1st. Unfortunately, no plans for 4k Blu-ray have been announced so far.
We’ve also got details on the Blu-ray disc specs, as well as the extra bonus material that will be included.
On Blu-ray, The Circle is formatted in 1080p resolution at 2.40:1 aspect ratio (16:9), with an English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.
Lionsgate is including several bonus features with the Blu-ray combo, including the featurettes “No More Secrets,” “The Future Won’t Wait,” and “A True Original: Remembering Bill Paxton.”
And, the Blu-ray combo pack will include a DVD and Digital HD copy.
The Circle on Blu-ray has a suggested retail price of 39.99, while the DVD is list-priced at $29.95.
