It’s been a long time waiting but EPIX is now available to customers using Amazon Fire TV devices. The free app can be downloaded from the Amazon Fire TV store free of charge, but requires a subscription from a service provider to watch content.
You can find the app by doing a search for “epix” with Amazon’s Fire TV Apps & Channels section (it’s not currently showing on the home screen as a new app), or from your connected Fire TV device.
Epix is currently showing blockbuster movies such as Star Trek Beyond, Teenage Mutant Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and Daddy’s Home, as well as Epix originals Berlin Station, Graves, and the soon-to-launch Florence Foster Jenkins (premiering 5/29).
EPIX is already available on major streaming platforms including Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and Sling TV.
Available in over 50 million homes nationwide, EPIX is a joint venture between Viacom Inc., its Paramount Pictures unit, Lionsgate and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM).
