Netflix has released a ‘First Look’ trailer for the 5th Season of Orange is the New Black, premiering on Friday, June 9th. The thirteen episode season will launch in its entirety on that date, with returning cast members that include Taylor Schilling, Kate Mulgrew, Uzo Aduba, and Danielle Brooks among others.
Created by writer/producer Jenji Kohan, the 6-time Golden Globe nominated series is already slated through 2019 for a seventh season.
YouTube viewers have given the rowdy teaser an overwhelming number of “Thumbs Up” as opposed to “Thumbs Down” reviews. One user commented “June 9th feels so far away,” while another user shouts “Omg yaaasss!!! CANT WAIT!!!,” while the rest of the chatter debates about whether a security guard in the video was shot or not. Well, you’ll just have to wait and see.
