Want to bypass the need to buy an Ultra HD Blu-ray player and discs? Vudu has a growing library of 4k UHD titles that can be streamed through the Vudu app for smart devices that support 4k. The UHD titles are not exactly cheap though, priced at $29.99 each (the same as many new 4k Blu-ray titles), but offer high quality video and audio through Dolby Vision (HDR) and Dolby Atmos (depending on title).
Since our last update Vudu has added several UHD movies including 2017 Oscar-winning films Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Arrival, Oscar-nominated war-time drama Allied, the animated hit Sing, and the drama/romance Collateral Beauty. Here are the video/audio specs and prices.

Vudu’s list of compatible devices with UHD is somewhat limited, but support has been extended to include the newest streamers from Roku including Premiere, Premiere +, and Ultra, as well as Chromecast Ultra that should be getting a firmware update to support Dolby Vision sometime soon.
