The sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), Universal Pictures’ Fifty Shades Darker (2017) is already available to pre-order in several different formats including Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD/SD. The film was just released to theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
The source of much mockery among comedians and film critics alike, Fifty Shades Darker scores a 9% on the Tomatometer from Rotten Tomatoes (compare that to The Godfather (1972) with a 99% score).
On Amazon, pre-orders of Fifty Shades Darker are currently priced at $34.98 (Blu-ray), $44.98 (4K Ultra HD Blu-ray), $29.98 (DVD), and $14.99 (Digital HD). We fully expect those prices to drop before release date, likely to $19.99 (Blu-ray), $24.99 (Ultra HD Blu-ray), and $14.99 (DVD).
Best Buy and Target are both planning exclusive Blu-ray editions of Fifty Shades Darker, including a Steelbook and special content edition, respectively.
We’ll update you with package art and official release date once received.
