Universal Pictures and DreamWorks have announced the home media release dates for The Girl on the Train starring Emily Blunt. The film will first be released to Digital HD on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 followed by Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand January 17.
The Girl on the Train on Blu-ray will sell in a 2-disc combo (pictured above) with a Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD copy redeemable with UltraViolet partners.
The Ultra HD Blu-ray edition of The Girl on the Train will be available in a 2-disc combo with 4k Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and Digital HD copy with UltraViolet. The Ultra HD Blu-ray copy will also include HDR (High Dynamic Range) color enhancements for 4k TVs that support the format, with a soundtrack in DTS:X Immersive Audio and DTS HD Master Audio 5.1 (note: audio format not yet confirmed).
The Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray editions will also include bonus features such as deleted and extended scenes, feature commentary with director Tate Taylor, and featurettes “The Woman Behind The Girl” and “On Board The Train.”
