Disney has released a new 30-second spot that reveals more about the upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The spot, titled “Hope,” opens with the vision of the Death Star looming in the sky, and delivers some clips we haven’t seen before. But take a look for yourself below.
We’ve seen a couple trailers already for Rogue One, including the Official Trailer 2 that reveals Jyn Erso’s conflict within the story, and the first Official Trailer released last summer.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters in the US, Canada, Japan, and several European countries on December 16th. The film, also playing in 3D at IMAX 3D and RealD 3D cinemas, will release one year between last December’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the not-yet-named Star Wars: Episode VIII scheduled for December, 2017.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Ben Mendelsohn, Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Riz Ahmed, Forest Whitaker, and James Earl Jones.
