Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D Collector’s Edition will be available worldwide on Blu-ray this fall, releasing to select countries over a period of about three weeks. France, Holland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom will get the Blu-ray 3D Collector’s Edition first on October 31st, followed by Italy and Spain on November 2nd.
In Australia, ‘The Force Awakens’ will go on sale November 9th. Residents of the United States and Canada won’t be able to buy Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D Collector’s Edition until Tuesday, November 15th. Finally, stores in Brazil and Germany will start selling the disc on November 16th and November 24th, respectively.
The 4-disc Collector’s Edition from Disney will include Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Blu-ray 3D (previously not available), Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD, packaged in the collectible case seen below.
Along with previously-released extras, the Blu-ray 3D Collector’s Edition also includes brand-new bonus material such as deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes conversations with cast and crew, and never-before released audio commentary from director J.J. Abrams. (See full details here.)
