Sling TV has launched a bunch of new popular channels to their lineup, making the service an even more viable option to traditional television. The internet TV provider has added NBC, USA, Bravo, Syfy, BBC America, and BBC World News to their multi-stream “Sling Blue” service (now available after beta testing), as well as NBCUniversal networks E!, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, Golf Channel and NBCUniverso through Extra packs.
Currently, local NBC channels are only available in ten markets including Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Hartford, Conn., Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego and Washington D.C. Sling says on demand content from NBC will be available in the future.
Sling also now offers both single-stream and multi-stream services. The $25 per month “Sling Blue” multi-stream service has added the channels mentioned mentioned above. However, their $20 per month “Sling Orange” service is only adding BBC America and BBC World News at this time.
Sling Orange Extras now include Vibrant TV in their “Lifestyle Plus Extra” pack, and BBC World News in their “World News Extra” pack, both available for an additional $5 per month.
Their “Sling Orange” service combines both ‘Blue’ and ‘Orange’ channels for a discount of $5. Customers can subscribe to both for $40 per month.
With the additions, Sling TV customers now have over 100 channels to choose from. View a list of channels available on Sling TV.
