Look around here in the U.S. for the disc release of Marvel’s Daredevil Season 1 and you won’t find anything but the words “unavailable” or “not found.” But in the UK, the Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and two exclusive editions were spotted on the UK shopping website Zavvi.com with a release date of October 3rd, 2016. The website is also featuring pre-orders of the disc editions on their homepage, so we’re assuming the release date is legit.
Marvel’s Daredevil Season 1 is listed in several editions including DVD (£19.99), Blu-ray (£25.99), Zavvi UK Exclusive Steelbook (£29.99), and Zavvi UK Exclusive Steelbook – Deluxe Collector’s Edition (£49.99).
We should mention the artwork pictured above is not official, but the exclusive steelbook editions featuring artwork by Marvel/Daredevil artist Joe Quesada look pretty darn good from our standards. One might hope if Best Buy releases a steelbook edition in the U.S. they might feature Quesada’s work as well.
Marvel’s Daredevil is a Netflix Original Series that released its second season in March of this year. The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (Daredevil), and in the current season introduced Elodie Yung as Murdock’s former love interest Elektra Natchios.
