When Amazon first started listing Ultra HD Blu-ray discs from Sony, most of the titles were selling for $32.99 each. That’s just a few dollars less than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $35.99.
But Amazon just dropped the prices of several Ultra HD Blu-rays from Sony even more. The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Hancock, and Pineapple Express are now $26 and change; that’s not much more than the price of some conventional Blu-ray Discs.
Sony’s other Ultra HD Blu-ray titles including Chappie, Salt, and The Smurfs 2 are priced at $29.99 each.
Best Buy is still selling all of Sony’s first UHD BD titles for $29.99 each.
