Bridge of Spies
Steven Spielberg’s Cold War drama Bridge of Spies is now available on Blu-ray Disc. The 2-disc combo edition from Walt Disney Studios includes a Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD copy redeemable with iTunes. Also included with the edition are several featurettes, behind-the-scenes moments, and historical looks at the Cold War. Bridge of Spies was nominated for six Oscars and stars Tom Hanks, Mark Rylance and Alan Alda. The Blu-ray is formatted in 2.40:1 aspect ratio with an English DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack. The Last Witch Hunter
The Last Witch Hunter starring Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious franchise), Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings) and Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones) has been released to Blu-ray Disc by Lionsgate. The 2-disc edition includes both Blu-ray and DVD copies of the film, along with a code to redeem a copy via iTunes or UltraViolet. Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs
The classic animated feature Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs is the first title to be released under The Signature Collection from Disney. Formatted in 1.34:1 aspect ratio (and available with “DisneyView” that replaces the black bars with artwork), the Blu-ray edition offers a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack in English. While most extras were already available with the previous Diamond release, the new ‘Signature Collection’ includes seven new supplements to the edition. Price: $22.99
Batman: Bad Blood
DC Comic’s animated feature film Batman: Bad Blood is now available on Blu-ray Disc in a 2-disc edition from Warner Home Video with DVD and code to redeem a Digital HD copy via UltraViolet. Bonus features include two featurettes and a sneak peek at the upcoming film Justice League vs. Teen Titans. The Blu-ray is formatted in 1.78:1 aspect ratio with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 channel soundtrack. Price: $16.99
