PlayStation Vue subscribers can now access their streaming TV accounts on Chromecast, following the addition of support of several other new devices including the Amazon Fire TV Stick, 2nd-generation Amazon Fire TV, and Apple iPhone and iPad in November. The service first launched on PS3 and PS4 game consoles in March, 2015.
The PlayStation Vue streaming TV service, available in select cities, is offered in three different multi-channel tiers: “Access” with 50+ channels at $49.99 per month; “Core” with 60+ channels for $59.99 per month; and “Elite” with 85+ channels for $69.99 per month.
Sony is currently running special promotional rates for the “Core” and “Elite” packages offered at $54.99 per month and $64.99 per month, respectively.
The streaming service is also promoting a special rate on the premium SHOWTIME & EPIX Hits channel add-on for $11.49 per month or $9.99 per month for PlayStation Plus members (expiring Dec. 31, 2015).
