Sling TV has launched a supporting app for Google Chromecast, allowing subscribers to access live and on-demand TV through the app on Android and iOS devices.
Sling TV is already accessible on Android and iOS tablets and phones, and Sling promises to soon add support for Windows and Mac laptops.
“Sling TV fans have made it clear since the beginning that Chromecast is a must-have device, and we agree,” said Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV.
New customers who sign up for Sling TV can get a free Chromecast device by prepaying for 3 months of the “Best of Live TV” package, or, existing Chromecast owners can get a free two-month trial of the “Best of Live TV” package.
Sling TV also supports Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, Android TV platforms including Google’s Nexus Player, current-generation Roku players and Roku TV models, Xbox One, Android and iOS devices, Macs and PCs.
