The Hulu app for Apple iPhones has been updated to support AutoPlay, a feature that automatically starts the next sequential episode of TV shows, even if casting to Apple TV to a bigger screen.
Users can turn off the feature, however, if not ready to “binge watch” multiple episodes of a series.
The app update from Hulu also includes performance optimizations and fixes some bugs found with the VoiceOver feature.
The Version 4.5.0 app for iOS is a 20.1MB file that’s available to download free from iTunes. Unlike the Hulu.com website, however, the Hulu app for iPhone requires a subscription to view any content.
In July, Hulu added support for Apple Watch, allowing users to use their watches as a remote control for Hulu programming.
The Hulu app for Android devices was also just updated to improve video playback, and fixes some bugs.
