Best Buy is currently running a “trade in” to “trade up” promotion in which you could potentially get up to $175 credit towards the purchase of an Xbox One. The trade in works like this:
- “Trade in any working Xbox 360 or PS3 console and receive a $75 coupon towards a Xbox One Console.”
- “Trade in a working Xbox 360 250GB or Sony Playstation 3 Slim and receive a minimum $100 gift card.”
To translate, you’ll get a $75 coupon as long as you trade in any working Xbox 360 or PS3 console. If your console is a working Xbox 360 250GB or Sony Playstation 3 Slim, you get an additional Best Buy gift card of at least $100. There are some caveats though.
The consoles must be working, in good condition with the warranty seal intact, and include the power cable. The promotion is only good in participating stores, is limited to one per customer, and can’t be combined with other trade-in offers.
The six-day “trade in, trade up” promotion ends on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
