Netflix has just added last year’s blockbuster Transformers: Age of Extinction to their library of streaming titles. The film, from director Michael Bay and writer Ehren Kruger, is the fourth film in the Transformers film franchise that’s based on the toys from by Hasbro and Tomy. In ‘Age of Extinction,’ mechanic Cade Yeager (played by Mark Wahlberg) discovers he is garaging the Transformer Optimus Prime, who is hunted by the Cybertronian bounty hunter Lockdown. Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, and Kelsey Grammer also star in Transformers: Age of Extinction. The film was excecuted by produced by Steven Spielberg, distributed in the U.S. by Paramount Pictures.
Other popular movie titles just added to Netflix this weekend include High Fidelity (2000), Life of Crime (2013), and The Cobbler (2014), while newly TV shows include Scandal (Season 4), Grey’s Anatomy (Season 11), Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Season 2), and Orange Is the New Black (Season 3). The documentary Antarctica: A Year on Ice (2013) is also now available on Netflix.
