The schedule is now set or the 2015 NBA Finals Championship between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The finals will start on Thursday, June 4th on ABC and Watch ESPN. While there was some talk about moving the finals up in the schedule, NBA officials claimed this would be a logistical nightmare to accomplish. And while NBA fans may experience the longest week of their lives while waiting for the finals to start, both the Cavaliers and Warriors will be able to get some much needed rest — all the better for the finals.
Houston lost to Golden State last night 104 to 90, but the final score really doesn’t reflect how close the game was. Houston hung around for most of the game, but a strong Warriors defense and faltering James Harden seemed to give Golden State the edge they needed to advance. Both teams exhibited sloppy play, With almost 40 total turnovers between the two teams (Houston 20, Golden State 18).
On Thursday, June 4th, Golden State will face a hungry Cleveland team who’ll have an extra days rest after closing out their series 4-0 against Atlanta last Tuesday. Lebron James, in his fourth consecutive NBA finals, will be playing for the first time as an underdog.
