It’s not exactly a blockbuster week for Blu-ray Disc releases, but there are quite a few new titles to sift through. One of the more popular releases this week is Seventh Son starring Ben Barnes, Julianne Moore, and Jeff Bridges. The 2-Disc Edition from Universal includes a Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD copy via UltraViolet, as well as several featurettes and Blu-ray exclusives.
History’s 5-hour miniseries Sons of Liberty has been released to a 2-Disc Blu-ray edition that includes Digital HD copies via UltraViolet. The second Season of Ray Donovan starring Liev Schreiber is now available in a 3-Disc edition from Showtime Entertainment.
And, Criterion Collection has digitally remastered and released several films on Blu-ray this week including State of Siege (1972), The Confession (1970), and The Merchant of Four Seasons (1971).
