CBS has released the first footage of the upcoming TV series Supergirl from Warner Bros. Television. The show will premiere this fall on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. Central. The series stars Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, along with TV veterans Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal) and Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman). There’s a lot of footage in the video, a full six-and-a-half minutes. And while the first two minutes read more like a comedy/romance than a show about super heroes, the rest of the footage gets better. We’ll leave the rest of the comments up to you.
