Hulu officially announced today the acquisition of the entire catalog of South Park seasons to stream on Hulu and Hulu Plus. Hulu is the exclusive home of South Park episodes (you can’t find the show on Netflix or with an Amazon Prime Instant Video subscription), and has been on Hulu’s Top-10 watched shows list for some time. Hulu will also be the exclusive streaming distributor for season 18 when the season premieres on September 24th. Hulu and Hulu Plus viewers will be able to access the new episodes the day after they air.
South Park premiered on Comedy Central in 1997 and has since broadcast 247 episodes. The series has been renewed through 2016 by Comedy Central, which will take the series through 20 seasons.
Hulu also announced “East Los High” has been renewed for a third season, after Season 2 debuted this week. And, on July 15, the series “The Hotwives of Orlando” will premiere on Hulu.
