Sony has launched the Video Unlimited service in Mexico, giving customers in the country the ability to rent or purchase movie titles though the PlayStation Store. The service lets customers purchase titles on a wide range of devices and platforms including the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Sony Xperia smartphones and tablets, Sony BRAVIA TVs, Sony Blu-ray Disc players and home theater systems, Sony Netbox, and Windows-based PCs through Sony’s Media Go application.
As well as access to a library of classic films, the Sony Unlimited Service distributes popular titles such as Gravity, Robocop, Lone Survivor, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
“Mexico is home to millions of Sony and PlayStation fans and we’re constantly enhancing our digital entertainment offering across PlayStation devices, PCs, and other compatible Sony products,” said Michael Aragon, VP/GM of Global Digital Video and Music Services at Sony Network Entertainment International.
