Check out this production footage from Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The almost 5-minute video gives viewers a taste of what the film will be like when it releases to theaters in the U.S. on June 6, with an insider’s look at greenscreen shots, articulating platforms, retakes, stunts and realistic battleground sets. You also get to see Cruise and Blunt performing some of their own stunts as they’re harnessed to wire rigs for special effect action shots.
Not all the footage is enhanced with an audio track, so there’s no need to troubleshoot your sound output. What audio is provided is all over place so take care when cranking up your speakers.
Edge of Tomorrow was directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) and produced by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures. The film is based upon the novel “All You Need is Kill” by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
