Just in case you didn’t get a chance to see this lengthy Game of Thrones video when it was released earlier this month, we wanted to feature it again as we look forward to the fourth season of the HBO series when it premieres on April 6, 2014. “Game of Thrones Season 4: Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing” is an almost 15-minute look back and look forward to the upcoming season, with clips from future episodes, cast interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
The extended preview features new characters such as Oberyn Martell (played by Pedro Pascal), and gives you an insider’s look at what actors think of other characters in the series such as the hated Joffrey Baratheon (played by Jack Gleeson). You also find out the Royal Wedding between Joffrey and Margaery Tyrell is such an epic scene that it takes up half an episode.
And, you’ll get a preview of Jon Snow’s return to the Black, and how he’ll deal with being on both sides of an oncoming battle.
Game of Thrones Season 4 will consist of 10 episodes, and was created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss based on George R.R. Martin’s series of books “A Song of Ice and Fire.”
The series won a Golden Globe award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role – Peter Dinklage, and was nominated for the Best Television Series – Drama.
