If you’ve been looking forward to the second season of History’s “Vikings” look no further as the premiere episode airs tonight at 10pm ET/PT, 9pm Central, on History channel. Season Two starts with the episode “Brother’s War” in which Ragnar and King Horik’s forces start their war against Jarl Borg. Season Two will consist of a total ten episodes.
“Vikings” stars Travis Fimmel as Ragnar Lothbrok, Donal Logue as King Horik, Thorbjørn Harr as Jarl Borg, and Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha among other returning cast members. The show was created by Michael Hirst (The Tudors, Elizabeth).
“Vikings” Season One was nominated for 3 Primetime Emmys, including Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series and Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role.
