‘300: Rise of an Empire’ featurette with Eva Green as ‘Artemisia’

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a featurette for the upcoming film 300: Rise of an Empire that focuses on the villain Artemisia played by Eva Green. The 3-minute/30-second video clip gives you an inside look at the film and how Artemisia fits into the story. We won’t give anything away but the teaser definitely does a good job of getting you excited for the movie when it releases in one week on Friday, March 7.

The screenplay for 300: Rise of an Empire was written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad and is based on the incomplete graphic novel “Xerxes” by Frank Miller. The film was directed Noam Murro (Smart People) and features some of the cast from 300 including Lena Headey (Queen Gorgo), Rodrigo Santoro (Xerxes), and David Wenham (Dilios).

The film will release to RealD 3D and IMAX 3D theaters, as well as 2D theaters nationwide. 300: Rise of an Empire is rated “R” by the Motion Picture Association
