It’s been a few months since ‘The Next Generation Season 3’ was released to Blu-ray Disc. Now we’re just a days away from the next TNG collection. Star Trek: The Next Generation – Season 4 on Blu-ray Disc will contain all 26 episodes of the fourth season starting with “The Best of Both Worlds: Part 2,” the conclusion of the Season 3 finale. Other popular episodes in Season 4 include “Final Mission,” “Data’s Day,” and the season’s finale “Redemption.”
Star Trek: The Next Generation – Season 4 comes in a 6-disc boxed set from Paramount that totals 1180 minutes of content. Bonus features include audio commentaries, gag reel, episodic promos, deleted and alternate scenes, production featurette “In Conversation: The Art Department,” and the new documentary “Relavitity: The Family Saga of Star Trek: The Next Generation.”
Like the previous TNG seasons on Blu-ray, each episode has been digitally restored from the original negatives and remastered to high-definition. The BDs are formatted in 1080p at 1.33:1 aspect ratio. Audio is provided in DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound, as well as Dolby Digital 2.0.
