Comcast Xfinity TV customers can now use their Windows 8 Phone as a remote control with the XFINITY TV Remote app. With the free app from Comcast you can view customized TV listings by area, browse the On Demand library, search for titles, and filter titles by categories such as genre, network, free, and HD resolution. The app also lets you schedule your DVR remotely. So, if you left the house and forgot to set your DVR to record the next Under the Dome episode, your in luck. Just download the app (Version 1.2.0.0) from the Windows Phone Store and search by title or network. The modest 3.0MB app was last updated June 25, 2013.
