This morning, Netflix announced expansion into the Netherlands later this year. The company will offer their unlimited streaming service letting subscribers watch movies, television shows, and original productions on TVs, PCs, tablets, phones, and other devices. Upon launch, the service will be available to broadband internet users in the Netherlands for one monthly price. (Netflix did not reveal what the monthly fee would be, but you’d expect it to be equivalent to US $7.99.)
Netflix is currently available in 40 countries with over 36 million subscribers.
Earlier this week Netflix announced a deal with DreamWorks to bring original shows to the platform, based on franchise and classic animation characters.
