Charter doubles HD channels in N. Texas

charter-logo-newCharter Communications customers in North Texas now have twice the amount of HD channels, thanks to a completed all-digital upgrade. The areas that can now get up to 141 hi-def channels include Fort Worth and 40 surrounding communities in Charter’s North Texas market. For many subscribers, especially University of Texas football fans, the addition of The Longhorn Network in high-defintion is well worth the ticket price. Other networks added in HD include ABC Family, BET, Cartoon Network, CMT, FOX News Channel, MSNBC, Nickelodeon, and Travel Channel among the bunch. With the upgrade, Charter also built upon it’s Video On Demand library, offering over 12,000 titles with 2,500 available in HD. Spanish speakers will also find new Spanish-language selections in the library.
