Outdoor Channel and Comcast announced a multi-year deal today that gives XFINITY TV customers access to programming on multiple devices. Via the XFINITY TV Player app for Android and iOS, customers can watch Outdoor Channel shows such as “Bottom Feeders,” “Jack Link’s Major League Fishing,” and Bone Collector” on tablets and smartphones. Subscribers can also watch Outdoor Channel programming on PCs at xfinity.com/tv.
“We are proud to broaden our affiliation through this premier partnership with XFINITY TV from Comcast, as this marks the first-ever TV Everywhere agreement in the outdoor genre,” said Tom Hornish , President and CEO, Outdoor Channel.
Outdoor Channel boasts close to 80 television shows in their programming lineup. Shows are also available anytime at XFINITY On Demand.
Financial terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
