This weekend Hulu is streaming their entire selection of films under the Criterion label. Without a Hulu or Hulu Plus subscription, you can watch films such as the Ingmar Bergman film Summer with Monica, or Jean-Luc Goddard’s Breathless. Hulu’s selection doesn’t represent the entire Criterion Collection, but you might not be able to get through the hundreds of titles they do have in just a few days.
When viewing the films on Hulu there will be commercial interruptions, unlike the ad-free viewing Hulu Plus account holders enjoy.
Content on Hulu streams at various resolutions depending on the title and bandwidth available. Resolutions include 288p, 360p, 480p, and 720p. The free preview runs through Monday, Feb. 18.
